FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A road rage incident left extensive damage to a victim’s vehicle in Fresno on Friday, September 25, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Officers hurried out to a call concerning a road rage incident at Chestnut and Nees avenues around 10 p.m. The victim of the incident informed the officers about what had happened once they arrived on scene.
The victim was driving east on Herndon Avenue near Millbrook Avenue, and the suspect was driving next to them. The suspect was later identified as 53-year-old Lamar Ray Jr. The 53-year-old then merged into the victim’s lane, and the victim saw this and slowed down.
The victim sped up, and the two vehicles were side by side once again. All of a sudden, Ray turned left toward the victim’s vehicle. The 53-year-old’s car hit the front passenger fender of the victim’s car, according to police…
