SAN DIEGO (KUSI/ FOX 5) — An online fundraiser for a 25-year-old woman who was severely injured when she was struck by a stolen Tesla during a police pursuit along the Pacific Beach boardwalk has surpassed $20,000.
Ken Cornell, owner of Ocean Pacific Gym and Wellness, said he launched the fundraiser after learning that one of his members, identified as Olivia, had been injured.
“It’s like having a kid,” Cornell said. “These kids are all here. We want to take care of them and raise some money for her because she is going through a difficult time.”…
