The Chicago area can expect to see plenty of rain in the next two days, including the remnants of Hurricane Polo.
The remnants of that tropical system are currently making their way through mainland Mexico, but before it arrives in the Chicago area, showers and some embedded thunderstorms could potentially impact the region late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, according to the NBC 5 Storm Team.
In a hydrologic outlook for this week, the National Weather Service says those showers and storms could produce periods of heavy rain because of “high moisture content in the atmosphere,” with 1-to-3 inches of rain or more possible in coming days…
