BATON ROUGE, La. (WNTZ) – Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents cited a Metairie man for multiple commercial fishing violations in Orleans Parish after a vessel stop on the Intracoastal Waterway.
According to LDWF, agents arrested Cameron B. Bertoniere, 20, on Sept. 7 on allegations of taking commercial fish without a vessel license, theft of crab traps and operating a watercraft while his license was suspended.
Agents said they were patrolling the Intracoastal Waterway when they spotted a vessel without visible registration numbers and conducted a stop.
