Neighbors near Tulsa State Fair brace for parking rush

TULSA, Okla. – Thousands of people will head to the Tulsa State Fair starting Thursday, and a lot of them will be looking for a place to park in the neighborhoods around it.

Neighborhoods near the fairgrounds have dozens of signs that say “no parking during state fair,” but that hasn’t always stopped people. Neighbors say they’re bracing for the rush.

Everyone has something different they look forward to at the fair. Diann Guy, who lives near the fairgrounds, said, “I would think candy apples.” Brayden Chronister, a new neighbor, said, “Probably the turkey legs.”
