‘It’s you who pays the price’: Dr. Annie Andrews urges action on soaring diesel costs

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Annie Andrews visited the Lowcountry Wednesday to highlight the impact of rising diesel prices on South Carolina businesses and consumers, arguing that Darline Graham’s decisions thus far are “directly responsible” for the stress people are feeling.

Speaking at Tarvin Seafood in Mount Pleasant, Andrews emphasized that dealing with these concerns is a focal point of her Senate campaign heading into the November election.

“Every single day I’m hearing about gas prices, and workers paying more just to get home from work, and parents paying more to get home from the soccer and football field,” Andrews said, “It’s just squeezing us all too much.”…
