HOUSTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A juvenile was arrested for homicide following a shooting in Houston County Monday night, officials said.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, its agents started investigating the deadly incident in Erin on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the request of 23rd Judicial District Attorney General Ray Crouch.

Authorities said the preliminary information indicates a minor got involved in an altercation with 22-year-old Ezekiel Ochoa in the 2000 block of Clay Tomlinson Road on Monday, Sept. 28, but the situation escalated. Law enforcement reportedly collected evidence suggesting the juvenile shot and killed Ochoa.
