Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy posted a video on X in which a woman asks about his priorities for his first 100 days in office. According to the post, he replies that he intends to lower the cost of living in Ohio and outlines how he would do so. Online users reacted after the clip circulated, with several commenters calling the pitch vague and questioning whether the plans include enough specifics.

The footage shows Ramaswamy at an outdoor podium under a tent, answering a question about his first 100 days. In the clip, he says there are “several things we can quickly score wins on,” starting with putting Ohio “on the path to the biggest property tax relief package we have ever seen in the history of our state,” adding that those taxes “have gotten insanely high” and that he would “bring it down” and “focus on that right out the gate.”

He also says he would “start immediately on deputizing the prosecution of Medicaid waste, fraud and abuse,” which he estimates could free “probably $4 to $5 billion we can appropriate back to our state,” and that he wants “economic development wins… on our terms that lift the quality of life.”…
