JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Almost a year after her arrest in the animal cruelty case of an emaciated Great Dane found in Jacksonville, a 43-year-old woman was sentenced Wednesday afternoon.
A judge sentenced Dawn Lipford to five years’ probation plus 300 hours of community service, which cannot involve contact with animals.
