St. Lucie County fire district attorney resigns amid hazing fallout; chief faces no-confidence vote

The St. Lucie County Fire District’s attorney resigned minutes after a heated special fire board meeting Wednesday, as fallout from an alleged hazing investigation continues to threaten district leadership.

Attorney Kim Sabol submitted her resignation letter effective in 90 days. She is the subject of several complaints tied to the hazing investigation.
