Mobile home residents across Riverside are getting some financial relief: the maximum CPI-based rent increase allowed for 2027 has been set at 2.56%.
According to the city’s annual rent stabilization report, the figure is calculated at 80% of the regional Consumer Price Index—a 3.2% reading for the Riverside–San Bernardino–Ontario area covering the 12 months ending July 31, 2026. That math lands at 2.56%, sitting just above the 2% floor and well below the 4% ceiling on automatic annual increases.
