Bayard Taylor’s Historic Kennett Square Estate, Cedarcroft, Lists for $3.1 Million

More than 160 years after Bayard Taylor built it, the Kennett Square home where the celebrated writer and diplomat entertained some of the era’s leading literary figures is up for sale again, with an asking price of $3.1 million.

Known as Cedarcroft, the brick estate at 108 Gatehouse Drive covers more than 7,100 square feet on 2.4 acres.
