AUSTIN (KXAN) — Travis County Emergency Services District No. 5, also known as Manchaca Fire Rescue, has deployed a crew to Kerrville as part of a Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System strike team in preparation for potential flooding from Hurricane Polo.
The crew is serving as part of a TIFMAS strike team, a statewide mutual aid network that allows fire departments and emergency agencies across Texas to assist communities facing emergencies.
