Good policy, bad timing: Cash farmer reacts to red dyed diesel de-regulation

CASH, Ark. (KAIT) – Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ executive order allowing farmers to use red dyed diesel is providing some relief on fuel costs, but one farmer said the change came later than he needed.

Arkansas Agriculture Secretary Wes Ward said the executive order deregulating red dyed diesel, which is untaxed, was a way for the state to immediately provide relief to farmers during harvest season and for the next 30 days.
