If you’ve lived in Lubbock for any length of time, you’ve probably driven Indiana Avenue approximately 14,000 times.

As a life-long Lubbockite, here’s something I had never really thought about: Why is it called Indiana Avenue?

Was somebody important from Indiana? Did an early Lubbock resident just really love the Hoosier State?
