ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A city task force has identified several high-risk corridors and intersections for pedestrians and bicyclists after reviewing a decade of crash data, leading to recommendations for new crosswalks, pedestrian signals, lighting improvements and other safety measures across Rockford.
The findings were released Wednesday as part of the City of Rockford’s Pedestrian Safety Task Force report, which examined bicycle and pedestrian crashes between 2015 and 2025.
