MIAMI COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) — A 42-year-old Wichita man is in jail after leading law enforcement on a roughly 40-minute pursuit across northwest Miami County on Tuesday, according to sheriff’s deputies.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were investigating a suspicious person report on Sept. 29 after a resident reported a man attempting to enter homes and asking unusual questions. Deputies had received two similar calls from other parts of the county earlier that day.
