BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A two-day closure is scheduled on 18th Street for an ongoing corridor improvement project in downtown Bakersfield, according to city officials.
The closure on 18th Street between L and O streets is set to begin Oct. 1 as crews continue grinding the street, officials said. It is expected to be completed by Oct. 2.

Most work will be done during the day and the road will open to traffic after each daily work shift, according to the city.
