COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A suspect in a double murder from 14 years ago is in custody and will face a judge Thursday.
Shamieke Pugh is charged with murder in connection with the killings of two men on New Year’s Eve in 2012 along Lockbourne Road near the Driving Park neighborhood. Police found Heriberto Galvan and Raymundo Lopez in the back of a garage, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Pugh arrived in Columbus from Los Angeles and approached Columbus police officers about the murders. He told officers he planned to rob the men and admitted to shooting Lopez several times with a handgun…
