NORTHEAST FLORIDA – Law enforcement officers serving Clay, Nassau and Duval counties were recognized Wednesday for their bravery, sacrifice and dedication to the community during an annual awards ceremony hosted by State Attorney Melissa Nelson of the 4th Judicial Circuit.
Awards were presented across several categories, including Citizen and Volunteer Partnership, Leadership, Investigative Excellence and Prosecution.
Awards recognize valor, lifesaving and bravery
The K-9 Valor Award was presented to K-9 Tank, Kay Lynn Crews and Renee Graham. Tyler Hohman received the Lifesaving Award, and Luis Mercado was honored with the Bravery Award.
