AUSTIN, Texas — More than 5 inches of rain have fallen in Junction early Thursday as slow-moving storms soaked the western Hill Country, and CBS Austin meteorologists say some areas could top 8 inches by the end of the morning.
“It’s only 5 AM and the forecast has already verified in the western Hill Country,” CBS Austin Meteorologist Avery Tomasco wrote on Facebook.
