ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- The FBI said 15 alleged gang members were arrested in the Capital Region in a bank fraud case that left people out more than $180,000.
The FBI shared the information at a press conference Thursday, October 1, in Albany at 4 p.m. Authorities said the arrests were part of an investigation called Operation Certified Delivery.
The FBI said the 15 people are members of a national gang called the Untouchable Guerrilla Stone Nation. Authorities said they were trying to steal more than $600,000 in bank checks and successfully took $180,000 before banks blocked the rest through security features…
