STOW, Ohio — Stow is building a 2,500-person outdoor amphitheater that city officials hope will do more than bring concerts to town: They want it to help revive a struggling shopping center and create a new entertainment destination.
“To me, this is more than an amphitheater,” Councilman Cyle Feldman said. “It’s an economic development opportunity for Stow.”
The AMP, under construction at 1680 Norton Road, is the centerpiece of an effort to breathe new life into the Stow-Hudson Towne Center Plaza at Norton and Darrow roads. The city plans to own and operate the venue, which is expected to open in spring 2027…
