ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A man has been charged after a trespassing incident in Albany on Wednesday evening. The Albany Police Department responded to the area of 10 Quay Street for reports of a man in the Hudson River at about 6:25 p.m.

When they arrived, officers learned that the man had been trespassing on the railroad tracks on the bridge. He then jumped into the Hudson River.
Authorities said he exited the Hudson River and was taken into custody by responding officers. The man was identified as 21-year-old Nathan Archambault, of Schenectady.

Archambault was charged with one count of third-degree criminal trespass. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Albany City Criminal Court on a later date.
