State Police identify human remains found off Atlantic City in 1981

The remains of a man found about a mile off Atlantic City’s shoreline 45 years ago have been identified.

Glen Napoleon Burbage was a retired U.S. Coast Guard chief warrant officer who lived in Charleston, S.C., and had flown to Atlantic City in March of 1981, and then was never heard from again.

Genealogical research by Ramapo College were able to link him to remains found May 22, 1981, recovered offshore from Raleigh Avenue…
