EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – Drivers in Evansville should be aware of some traffic changes as a couple of road projects enter its next phases.
City officials state beginning on or after October 5, the Cross Pointe roundabout project will enter into Construction Phase 2A, which will consist of traffic pattern changes by moving north and southbound traffic on Cross Pointe Blvd. to the east side of the road, utilizing part of the constructed portions of the roundabout.
As a result, westbound access to Indiana Street from southbound Cross Pointe will be allowed, but eastbound access to Cross Pointe from Indiana Street will not be permitted. Patrons at the businesses along Indiana Street must exit on Indiana Street heading west, utilizing the access road by Kohl’s and exit towards Burkhardt Road or Virginia Street…
