Man gets more than 11 years in Wilkes-Barre meth, firearms case

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — A Harrisburg man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison in connection with a Wilkes-Barre drug-trafficking and firearms case.

Craig Lee Hickson, 36, was sentenced Tuesday to 135 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Julia K. Munley for attempted possession with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a Wilkes-Barre residence in February 2025 and found a package containing 4.5 kilograms of methamphetamine and 12 firearms, including one reported stolen, prosecutors said…
