GRAND LEDGE, Mich. (News 10) – Alyssa Miller says her 5-year-old son, Santana, is nonverbal and autistic, meaning he can’t tell a stranger his name or where he lives.
To protect him, Miller’s mom created an identification bracelet so that if Santana ever got lost, someone would be able to help him get back home safely.
Engraved on the bracelet are details a bystander would need to help a child, including a name, address, disability diagnosis and emergency contact numbers.
