MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – The Alabama Department of Transportation is ready to start widening Interstate 85 in Montgomery, with work scheduled to start Monday.
As Action 8 News reported last month, the project will go from Taylor Road and extend eastward to Jenkins Creek, just past the Chantilly Parkway exit, which is Exit 11.
