VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A man charged in connection with a March shooting at the Oceanfront had his charges dismissed Thursday after video shown in court indicated he did not attempt to take another man’s gun or fire during the incident.
During Thursday’s preliminary hearing, Matheus Cavalcante, who had his charges in connection with this shooting set aside, told his side of the story for the first time about what he said happened the night of March 7th.
