Case reopened: Port St. Lucie TikTok creator jailed on computer-access charge

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A Port St. Lucie man whose TikTok and Twich bios identify him as a “cybersecurity engineer” was jailed Wednesday after police reopened an investigation that had been closed in May.

Mark Stephen Asea, 36, was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on Sept. 30 at 10:19 a.m. on one pending count of offense against computer users, according to jail records. His bond was set at $35,000. An earlier stalking charge appears to have been dropped.

The charge stems from an earlier investigation in which detectives accused Asea of gaining access to women’s electronic devices and using TikTok posts to discuss information they said was private…
