Shaw University alumni file formal complaint with NC AG’s Office about school decisions

Alumni of Shaw University have filed a formal complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office, asking state officials to review issues involving the university’s governance, finances, real estate holdings and transparency.

“It’s very important to understand that this is more than just about Shaw University,” said Eugene Myrick, founder of the Save Our Shaw Coalition. “This is about the community of Raleigh.”
