RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — 8News was joined by several special guests with the new play “Dog Mom” on Thursday to talk about how people can support shelter animals and local theater.
8News anchors Delaney Hall and Madison Moore were joined by director Rick St. Peter and actress Rachel Marrs, as well as some furry friends, to discuss what people can expect.
“It’s a wonderful, heartfelt comedy about a woman who has been unfortunately recently divorced, and she’s moved into Brooklyn, and she finds a stray dog that she does not really want, but before she knows it she does want the dog,” St. Peter said. “It’s a wonderful love story about how we and our pets just kind of love each other unconditionally, and hijinks ensue!”…
