(KRON) — A mother and her son were arrested in Sonoma County Wednesday night on suspicion of committing the same crime: driving under the influence of alcohol.
The Cotati Police Department said its officers encountered a double DUI case after a witness flagged down one of its officers who was on patrol downtown. Police said the witness pointed out a driver who appeared to be drunk.
The officer followed the vehicle, observed multiple vehicle code violations, and pulled it over. CPD wrote, “the officer conducted an investigation that ultimately resulted in the driver being placed under arrest for driving under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs.”…
