MANOR, Texas (KXAN) — The Manor Police Department identified the man who died after he was hit by a Manor Police officer’s patrol vehicle last week.
According to Manor Police Chief Ryan Phipps, 24-year-old Jesus Blas-Rodriguez was walking in the westbound lane of U.S. 290 in Manor when he was hit by the officer. The crash happened Sept. 25 at 1:04 a.m. near Gregg Manor Road.
Officers immediately gave Rodriguez CPR and medical aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene…
