Mail carrier robbed in Denver, USPIS investigating

DENVER (KDVR) — The United States Postal Inspection Service said it is investigating a robbery of a letter carrier that occurred on Thursday afternoon.

According to a release, the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the East 22nd Avenue and Albion Street intersection in Denver. The suspect reportedly fled north on Ash Street after the robbery.

The suspect in this case is identified as a black man who stands about six feet, two inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie and an orange/red face covering.
