Jury convicts Las Vegas man of 2 armed robberies in April 2025

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas man was convicted by a federal jury on Tuesday in two armed robberies committed in April 2025, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Soloman Tremain White robbed a store and a sandwich shop, jurors found in a verdict returned in about an hour. White is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 11, 2027, by U.S. District Judge Cristina D. Silva. He faces a mandatory minimum of 14 years in prison.

White has prior felony convictions, including attempted grand larceny and voluntary manslaughter, both in Clark County. He is prohibited from possessing a firearm because of his prior felony convictions.

Jurors returned guilty verdicts on two counts of interference with commerce by robbery, two counts of brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, and three counts of prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Evidence presented at trial showed White was armed with a Sig Sauer P265 9mm semiautomatic pistol when he stole money and fled from a store on April 18, 2025. The next day, White entered a sandwich shop and brandished a 9mm semiautomatic pistol. He fled the store with stolen money…
