GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A Grovetown Elementary School teacher will represent the Columbia County School District in the state competition for Georgia Teacher of the Year.
Heather Cottingham was named the district’s 2027 Teacher of the Year and recognized during a ceremony Thursday evening.
Cottingham teaches in the Early Intervention Program and works with English language learners.
