More details have been released by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office about a vehicle versus horse and equipment wreck on Lafayette Road last week.
It happened on September 25 around 5:45 p.m. in the 9800 block of Lafayette Road when a side-by-side driven by 43-year-old Christina Scott of Hopkinsville was reportedly heading to the Herndon Dollar General and crested the hill. As she topped the hill, that’s when she saw the manure spreader being hauled by the horse and locked up her brakes in an attempt to avoid a collision.
The side-by-side spun out and struck the equipment, knocking it forward into the back of the horse…
