The Erie County Department of Health has opened a new community health kiosk aimed at expanding access to overdose prevention and safety supplies.
The kiosk will offer items including Narcan, first aid and hygiene kits, along with a secure container for used needles.

Health officials said it will operate 24 hours a day, providing a convenient and discreet way for people to access supplies.
Those leading the effort hope the kiosk reduces not only overdoses and disease transmission, but also the stigma on access to these resources.
