SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A street in Syracuse is set to be closed for an upcoming renovation effort.
Mayor Sharon Owens’ office said in a statement that a road reconstruction project for Solar Street, between Plum and Court streets, will start Sunday, Oct. 4. The street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the undertaking, which will include paving work. Traffic detours will be set in place.
Construction is expected to be done within 48 hours, but the work will be weather-dependent. Drivers may be delayed and should use alternate routes if they can, the mayor’s office noted…
