A backup running back got his chance to shine in the St. Michael-Scotlandville game

St. Michael running back Gavin Romero spent most of his high school career backing someone else up.

With Deonte Camel, the usual starter, still dealing with an injury, Romero’s chance to shine finally arrived Thursday night against Scotlandville. He did not let his opportunity pass him by.
