Two men from New Jersey were shot at a New Year’s Eve party in Pennsylvania; one was seriously wounded, and another was killed — the double shooting has now ended with a guilty plea after nearly nine years and two overturned convictions.
Vyante Green, 31, of Allentown, pleaded guilty Friday to third-degree murder and aggravated assault before Lehigh County Judge Robert L. Steinberg, according to District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan’s office. Green has been jailed since his 2018 arrest.
