Derek Hough, judge on Dancing with the Stars, recently delighted fans by proudly embracing his “dad bod” in a new Instagram post.
The professional dancer and his wife, Hayley Erbert, welcomed their daughter, Everley Capri Hough, in December 2025. The couple had previously shared their emotional pregnancy journey, including a heartfelt video posted in October 2025 during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. In that post, they honored the baby they lost, describing their experience as “a chapter of love, loss, heartbreak, and everything in between.”
A few months later, Derek and Hayley joyfully announced the arrival of their rainbow baby, expressing how their lives had been transformed: “Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open, and our world is forever changed.”
Now a proud new father, Hough appears to be channeling his energy into a new health commitment. In a recent Instagram post showcasing his impressive physique, he wrote, “New dad, new commitment to health.
Chasing longevity so I can provide and show up for her with energy and love every day.” Fans eagerly responded to the post, showering him with compliments like, “Is that a 10 pack?

This isn’t the first time Hough has shared glimpses of his fit physique. Back in August, he posted a playful photo of himself “watering the plants,” which also garnered enthusiastic reactions.

Good man.” Even Hayley joined in on the fun, teasing him with, “I don’t see much watering happening here,” to which Derek replied, “Just thirsty.”
