AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A staff member at T.W. Josey Comprehensive High School has been placed on administrative leave after a classroom incident that turned physical, according to a letter sent to families.
Principal Melisa Clark said the incident happened on campus Wednesday and began as a classroom disruption involving a student who refused to follow directions to leave.
As the teacher attempted to “safely manage the environment and remove the student,” Clark wrote, “a physical altercation ensued.”…
