GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is launching a criminal investigation into an embattled Greensboro cemetery.
The North Carolina Cemetery Commission issued a cease-and-desist letter to National Vault Services, which appears to own Piedmont Memorial Park Cemetery on McConnell Road, on Sept. 10.
“We believe that National Vault Services may be operating the Piedmont Cemetery illegally,” the state commission said in the letter.
