The Decatur Book Festival returns Oct. 2-3 for its 21st annual celebration of books, bringing more than 80 national, regional and local authors to downtown Decatur.
Free and open to the public, the festival features readings, conversations and book signings spanning genres from literary fiction and memoir to romance, poetry, horror and graphic novels. Pulitzer Prize winner Brian Goldstone will open the festival Oct. 2 with a keynote conversation with Brea Baker.
Saturday’s festivities will also include more than 125 exhibitors, food trucks, local businesses, nonprofit organizations and family-friendly programming, including storytimes and performances, and a new Decatur Square Stage…
