OVIEDO, Fla. — A Colombian family behind Coffee for the Soul is expanding its Hispanic-owned coffee business across Central Florida and beyond while working to manage rising costs for coffee, food, and leased spaces.
Paola Bornacelli, founder and CEO of Coffee for the Soul, and her son, Matteo Gutierrez, co-founder of the business, came to the United States from Colombia in 2015. They opened their first Coffee for the Soul location in Winter Park in April 2016.
