Baton Rouge man accused of rape, robbery at City Hall

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Baton Rouge police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man accused of raping and robbing another man inside City Hall last month.

Alfred Richardson, 67, faces one count of second-degree rape and one count of simple robbery, according to an arrest warrant affidavit filed in the 19th Judicial District Court.

Investigation details

According to the affidavit, Baton Rouge Police was contacted on Sept. 16 about a reported sexual assault at City Hall in the 200 block of St. Louis Street. The affidavit states the assault occurred inside a bathroom.
