METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) – A storied New Orleans-area furniture retailer announced it is shuttering its doors after more than a century in business.
Hurwitz Mintz already has its signs and flags outside of its warehouse on Airline Drive, signaling to the public that the store will close after 102 years and three generations.
The store did not say when the last day of operation will be and what led to the closure, but everything from tables, to chairs, to couches and beds are on sale, with some items up to 70% off…
